- Permissible style gear mounted receptacle available for retrofit application in a standard SMC A10 packing gland nipple (1 1/8th-12 thread)
- Non-permissible gear mounted receptacle available for thru hole application in sheet metal enclosures
Note: Permissible style gear mounted receptacles must be certified as part of customers MSHA certified equipment

SMC Electrical Products Inc. has developed, engineered and manufactured a fiberoptic connector designed specifically for the underground mining industry. The fiberoptic connectors feature low optical insertion loss, repeatability, exceptional strain relief, and reliability. The connector can handle up to 8 combinations of either fiberoptic or copper (#12 max) conductors.
