Our Isolation Switches allow safe disconnecting of a motor or other device for service or other use. The Reversing Switches allow controlled reversing of motors, etc. by changing the power phases. They are heavy-duty devices used primarily for mining applications. Designed for low maintenance, long operating life and have low operating torque. They have flame retardant, non-tracking insulation and all current carrying parts are of silver plated copper. Ratings on Isolation Switches are 600 Amperes at 1000 VAC and either 600 Amps or 1200 Amps at 5000 VAC. Reversing Switches are rated at 400 Amps at 1000 VAC and 1000 Amps at 2400 VAC. Pre-opening de-energizing interlocks and auxiliary contacts are available options.
